I spent most of the day at Carnaval & The Carnaval after party yesterday, from about 12pm - 4am this morning. Carnaval was alright during the day, smelled a lot of good food. Smelled because I wasn't going to pay $8 bucks for a Shish Kabob, I went to Tommy's Joint later and got a whole plate of Burgandy Beef & Rice with a roll for 7. I saw all types of people walking around. The after party lasted from 7pm - 4am.. was pretty crazy, the place had like 3 floors playing different music on each one. Then they also had another room where the reggae and hip hop performances were going on.

Went to Attack Of The Blaps last night at DNA Lounge in SF. The Lineup was..

The place was pretty chill. It wasn't that crowded I just wish they had started the show earlier. We got there at about 10:45pm had a few drinks and waited until 12 for Illmind to go on set. I had about 5 people walk up to me thinking I was Traxamillion.. it was kinda cool but after the 3rd it just got annoying. I only stayed for Babu and Illmind because the show didn't start until about 12am and by the time Babu was starting it was already 12:30. I mostly wanted to see Amp Live, I wonder if he played some of his Radiohead remixes or had any new projects.
Illmind started off with some beats that were alright, I forgot that he produces for G-Unit now, a lot of the beats had that sound. Then he had 2 emcees perform with him I can't remember their group name, he said he was to them what 9th was to Little Brother. The group was alright. The tracks he played after were some dope Bangers, you can't really go wrong if you can bang that shit in your car. The track I enjoyed the most was his sampling of Ordinary Love by Sade, I recorded most of it right here..

By the time Babu came on I was ready to crash.. His beats were refreshing like a glass of cold water. He had some organic, natural, outdoor sounding shit that was dope as hell. I only stayed for 2 of his songs before I bounced..

151 + Hypnotiq + Red Bull
energy drinks and alcohol ought to not go together. I had 2 Silverbacks last night which is 151, hypnotiq and red bull, except this place used rockstars. Had me on some new type of drunk. I was active alert and buzzed. This drink could be cool depending on the type of environment your in. But if your in a mellow chill place you kinda don't know what to do with yourself. When I got home I couldn't even sleep, sittin around wide awake and buzzed at 5am lookin at wikipedia and myspaces..
Lakers and Cavs won last night woo.. I stopped watchin the Lakers game in the third quarter, nuts that the Jazz almost came back. Outscoring the Lakers 35-22 in the 4th. The Cleveland game was pretty grind it out with the final score bein 74 - 69, only 4 players in the whole game scored in double figures.

Hornets took the Spurs oout
Pulled through for the win 101-79, now leading the series 3-2. I didn't get to catch most of this game but David West went off with 38pts 14rebs 5assists and 5 blocks. Hornets pretty much shut shit down in the 3rd quater. Chris Paul is too raw I'll put what he did to Julius Hodge behind me..
While he was at Wake Forest he intentionally hit Julius Hodge in the nuts on an inbounding play, at the time I was a hardcore Julius Hodge fan and that mess sent me over the top. Since then Julius Hodge has had extremely bad luck.. (getting shot, having to kill in the Australian Basketball league, and stints in the NBDL etc..) Chris Paul ruined his life.. Paul's outstanding last 2 seasons have helped me put all that stuff behind though.. Chris Paul for MVP 2008/09!
