I've been noticing something in music. It hasn't quite taken form yet, and I'm not sure if it ever fully will.
Afta-1 - makes the future sound dope, nice melodic beats.
Flying Lotus - Tons of potential. Still seems incomplete though.
Jay Electronica - Dope MC. 1 Melodic song from being pretty damn good.
Panacea - Side Project of Raw Poetic & K-murdock that blew up. Nice group. Some of the songs just sound too corny to me, and some sound great. I enjoy more of the songs from their main Project (if it still is) Restoring Poetry In Music.
DJ A-Trak - Producing, Djing & Remixing this dude is just making music fun again. He's pretty much sayin fuck mainstream, fuck underground, music is music. Bringing the fun back in a respectable non-corny way.
Mickey Factz - Not exactly super talented or anything, but he is doing something different and keeping it simple. He is rappin over shit and sampling from songs no one would think to use, and it works.
Lupe Fiasco - Doing a lot of different things in music. Bringing it all together. Has the kind of open mind necessary to grow and help music grow.
Kanye West - already pretty famous he's doin it all.. but once I heard stronger for the first time, I knew it was a wrap, something greats coming.

cloverfield..WARRIORS
I went out and saw Cloverfield today... I give it 2.9/5 stars. I had a free movie pass so it was a fine movie to see for free. They didn't really go into depth enough for me to enjoy the movie, something about a "Monster" with an unknown origin disturbs me. I think they could have at least said it came from space, or Hollow earth, or the ocean somewhere.. The most interesting things about this movie to me were the women. Jessica Lucas and Odette Yustma goddamn.. Jessica Lucas had some Jessica Alba qualities goin on and Odette Yustman looks kinda like Megan Fox. This movie would have gotten 5/5 stars if the monster ripped their clothes off. Yea I guess it was alright though watch it for yourself.
Warriors game though.. Up and Down. Both teams blew some serious leads but thank god Warriors came out on top. Monta Ellis went for 39 and Baron Davis mimicked Jason Kidd and got a triple double. Losing our lead in the 4th quarter worries me about the Warriors though, shows how shitty and unfocused our defense is. I'm almost starting to feel sorry for the Nets, they got some nice talent and just keep on losing, Josh Boone is even starting to kill. I hated Josh Boone at UCONN, I never understood how he was a first round pick. Dude has been bulking up the last few years and hes turning into a rebounding monster. I can see him being a 10 and 10 player in the near future if placed in the right situation. Maybe nets should made some big trades and rebuild, but I don't know with all that talent they have to come out of their slump some time.

Lately I've been pretty observant. I like to just sit back listen and watch others actions during the day. I'm not sure why but I have always had this idea in my head that everyone else has everything going right for them and knows what this lifes about. I was brought up with this illusion of stability in life, like everything should just work somehow. Slowly but surely I'm realizing how messy this world truly is. No one really knows what they are doing. Right now I'm pretty much trying to stabilize my life. Everything about me is so damn cluttered and unbalanced, I just kind of have to pull everything together so I can really go out and figure out how to live and get those flashing lights..

enjoyin myself.
Overall I had a pretty laid back day. I was supposed to watch Cloverfield earlier but just wasn't in the mood. I decided to be a little productive so I cleaned my room and cooked some. TV treated me well today, there was plenty of college & NBA basketball on all day. Warriors got that win booooy. USC beat UCLA though wtf.. damn you Davon Jefferson, just had to get off this game. Westbrook didn't shoot too well either. Kansas game was alright Bill Walker killed the first half and Beasley pretty much took over in the second after an alright first half. UNC lost to Maryland... Duke beat Clemson, Gerald Henderson almost had some crazy ass dunk. I wish he would have made it, could have been one of the top dunks this year. There were other games but I didn't watch em all.

I tried sleeping at 10pm today.
woke up @12am wide awake.
I am still wide awake and its 2am.
I have work at 8am
I wanted to wake up at 6am to go jogging and play some COD4 online before work.
Classes starting up next week yes.
I am actually excited to start back up @school.
I just made a chill ass mix.. gots some Zero 7 , DJ Cam, Slum Village, Flying Lotus and some other stuff in there.
I just rearranged my key chain. makin big changes this year.
You should try asking somebody what type of person they think they are.. about 99% of the time their actions are completely inconsistent with what they say. I don't know why it took me 20 years to learn this.

Andrew Bynum was injured the other night and is out for at least 8 weeks.
Lakers aren't going to kill it anymore unless Kwame Browns hype turns into reality and he averages 20 and 10.
Unfortunately Kwame Brown won't average 20pts and 10rbs, maybe 20 minutes per game and 10 fouls per 48 minutes though.

3:15am buzzin. listenin to some nas and eating sweet hawaiian bread trying to sober up enough to drive home. Had another fun bro it out night freestylin to our hearts content. Sitting here thinking about my daily bullshit. All I know is tonight has been one chill as night.
Right now I'm listening to Eminems cd Infinite, I think this is his best. His newest cds have been weak and his first popular mainstream cds the Slim Shady Lp, marshall mathers.. weren't taken seriously. Infinite is where its at. Chill ass beats that he produced himself, this albums just filled with music I can lay back and chill to. Im feelin this shit extra hard right now cause I'm drunk but even when I'm not this cd just hits the spot. I gotta take a piss enjoy some Affion Crockett...

Warriors Vs. Hornets 56-58 at the half.
Its been raining all day and I'm going nuts. I made some more buffalo wings this morning and they were off the hook, tomorrow I'm gonna try a new recipe I found online that sounds pretty good. Spent my whole day playing NBA2k8,Virtua Tennis 3, and Call Of Duty. Games got old fast... took some naps, ate random food in the fridge. Today is pretty weak. I can't stand the rain its so debilitating, hardly had enough energy to eat today. Tomorrow better be better than today. It's still early though 8:44 and I hardly leave the house before 10pm to go out on most days anyway unless its to play basketball or go to the gym. Something random needs to pop up tonight so booored..
arms malfunctioning
I just got back from the gym and I feel great for going but my body is killing me. For the last few weeks I've been going in stints like once or twice every couple of weeks. I shall start going consistently from now on. Blazers beat Bulls, good shit. Sonics lost but Durant went off so I don't mind. Denver beat San Antonio but I don't care about those teams. Work was boring as hell, we played Taboo since no customers were coming and I lost every fucking time, that games stupid. This morning I tried to replicate Wingstops Lemon Pepper wings.. it didn't go too well. In the midst of preparing them I went all Iron Chef and starting adding soy sauce and hot sauce and emptied my cabinets into a bowl. At the time I thought I was making the most bomb ass wings in history. To an observer I probably looked like a 5 year old playing in the kitchen and to be honest thats how I felt. In the end the wings tasted like shit and I had to go to work on an empty stomach. I'm going to try again in about 10 hours though.

I'm not too fond of the month of January.
Theres this weird new years, make changes aura surrounding everyone.
I'm not sayin its a bad thing to want to make changes and have resolutions.
I'm just sayin the gym is way to crowded and everybody is a little too nice.
So far the theme of my new year is Lazer Tag.
Funny cause I haven't even played Lazer Tag this year.
But all my friends have.
I feel left out.
Warriors got raped by the Mavs. I haven't gotten a chance to watch the game yet, but I don't think I want to.
